During this time, the company established its reputation of being one of the leading
roofing contractors and successfully completed many of the Island's large commercial
roof installations and re-roofing projects.
After a few years, we also started to distribute materials we
imported to other roofing contractors. Based on extensive knowledge
gained about the roofing market in Jamaica, it was decided that
the company's future direction should be focused on the distribution
of a broad range of high quality, competitively priced roofing
products and accessories. Accordingly, we have moved beyond our
commercial/industrial market beginnings, and now supply the residential
and hardware distribution sectors as well. We are proud to state
that Spectrum is now considered to be one of the most innovative
and diverse roofing supply companies on the Island. It is our
goal to become Jamaica's leading roofing distributor within 3
years.
While the distribution side
of the business continues to grow, the company will maintain its capacity to execute
new installation and re-roofing projects. We are also looking beyond Jamaica,
as we believe that attractive opportunities exist in other Caribbean islands.
We plan on seeking partners to enable us to capitalize on these opportunities
beginning in 2005.
